Great things come in small packages
Many wineries want to use natural corks but find that cost pressures are making them consider other technologies.
nanocork™ has been developed by Bacchus and Álvaro Coelho & Irmãos to meet the needs of their customers for a competitively priced cork which will outperform screwcaps and synthetic corks.
nanocork™ is an entirely new form of high-performance closure, designed for wines which require a low oxygen transfer rate and have low susceptibility to reduction.
nanocork™ combines all the advantages of natural cork with the remarkable power of the Bacchus Barrier™ and its ability to control oxygen transfer.
nanocork™ combines the established INOC cork with Bacchus Barrier™ film bonded to each end. This combination of cork and barrier consistently delivers the "nano" quantities of oxygen that are required for the sound ageing of aromatic, fresh and delicate wines.
